About the Program

At Kaleidoscope Academy, we provide targeted math intervention and enrichment opportunities that go beyond basic support. Our tutoring is designed for students who struggle with number sense, calculation, problem-solving, numeracy, and fact fluency, and need structured, explicit instruction to succeed.

 

We understand that every child learns differently. Our approach is individualized, supportive, and grounded in proven methods that help students build both skills and confidence over time.

Our Approach

​

We use evidence-based math instruction designed to strengthen conceptual understanding, computational fluency, and problem-solving skills.

Our approach includes explicit, systematic instruction in mathematical concepts, hands-on and visual learning strategies, repetition and cumulative review of foundational skills, and targeted practice in reasoning, computation, and real-world problem solving. We also focus on building confidence by creating opportunities for success and providing consistent support and encouragement.

 

Instruction is tailored to each student's current skill level and learning needs and is adjusted as they grow in understanding, confidence, and achievement.

  • Frequency: 1–2 times per week
